COLESLAW.TXT C-2 COLE SLAW 3 cups cabbage, finely chopped. if desired, add 1/4 cup chopped green pepper or 1 cup grated carrot 1. Toss with one of the following dressings: A. mix 3 tbsp sugar, 3 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp salad oil, 1 tsp salt; Stir till sugar disolves B. combine 1/3 cup mayo or salad dressing, 1 tbsp vinegar, 2 tsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp celery seed; Stir till sugar disolves. 2. Refrigerate several hours to blend flavors. CARRAISN.TXT CARROT AND RAISIN SALAD 1 lb carrots grated 3 Tbs sugar 3/4 c raisins 1/3 c mayonaise salt to taste Mix all ingredients and refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors. FRBANANA.TXT FROZEN BANANA SALAD 4 bananas, mashed 1 8 1/2 oz can crushed pineapple 1 Tbs lemon juice 1 6 oz jar cherries, drained and 1/2 cup chopped pecans quartered 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1 16 oz carton sour cream 1. Mix all ingredients, stirring well, pour into a 9 in square pan. 2. Freeze until firm. Cut into squares and serve frozen.
