MEATLOAF.TXT D-12 DAD'S OWN MEATLOAF 1 1/2 lb ground chuck 1/2 lb ground pork 3/4 cup oatmeal 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 3 tsp beef boullion granules 1 egg 1/2 cup catsup NOTE: This recipe works well with 2 lb ground chuck (no pork). 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. 3. Form into a loaf on a large baking pan or dish. 4. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove from dish. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. COMPBURG.TXT COMPANY BURGERS 2 1/2 lb ground beef 1 envelope onion soup mix 1/3 cup picante 1/3 cup chili sauce 1/4 tsp black pepper 1. Mix all ingredients well and press into burgers. 2. Fry or broil or cook out. Makes 8 - 12 good sized burgers. CREAMTUN.TXT CREAMED TUNA ON TOAST 1 can tuna milk 1 can mushroom soup salt and pepper to taste 1. In a saucepan, add the soup, about 1/2 can of milk, tuna, salt, and pepper. 2. Stir and cook until hot and bubbly. Serve over bread or toast.
