BMILKPIE.TXT BUTTERMILK PIE 1 cup sugar 2 Tbs flour 2 cups buttermilk 2 Tbs butter, melted 2 eggs, beaten 1 tsp lemon extract 1 unbaked 9 in pie shell NOTE: I use butter, not oleo. It takes a deep dish pie shell, if using frozen pie shell. 1. In a bowl, mix sugar and flour. 2. Add butter and eggs and mix well. 3. Add buttermilk and lemon extract and mix well. 4. Pour into the pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 35 minutes.
