CHOCSNAK.TXT CHOCOLATE SNACK CAKE (Sherry) (mix and bake in one pan) 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup water 1/3 cup vegetable oil 1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional) 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. 2. In and 8 X 8 or 9 X 9 inch pan, mix the dry ingredients (not the chocolate chips) with a fork. 3. Mix in the wet ingredients with a fork. 4. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top, if desired. 5. Bake 35 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. 6. Cool completely. Great as is or with ice cream. No need to frost. Since there is no frosting it is lower in fat than traditional cake.
