BBGRUNT.TXT BLUEBERRY GRUNT FILLING: 2 16 oz cans blueberries, drained 1/2 cup sugar or equivalent or 3 cups fresh or frozen sweetener blueberries 3 Tbs butter, melted 1/4 tsp vanilla 1 Tbs lemon juice 1/4 tsp cinnamon CRUST: 1 cup all purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 cup butter softened 1 egg 1/3 cup milk 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2. In a large bowl, combine the filling ingredients and mix well. 3. Spray a 9 X 5 loaf pan with cooking spray. Pour the filling in the loaf pan and set aside. 4. In a medium bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. 5. Cut in the butter with a fork or pastry blender. 6. In a small bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Combine with the flour mix, until just moistened. 7. Drop by tablespoonfulls over the blueberries and spread evenly over the top. 8. Bake 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
